Sherlock even goes to John's dates in Season 1 so it proves that they are veeeeery close ! xD Suddenly, for the people around, their relationship seems so surprising, so rare, that they immediately deduce that they are in a romantic relationship, when they are just very close. All that to say that if we want to see Johnlock in the relationship between John and Sherlock, we can see it and even be convinced of it, but if later, we try to see something other than a romantic relationship, we can very well see it and be convinced of it too. It really depends on the point of view. But since a friendship between John and Sherlock is more likely and I prefer the idea of ​​friendship, then I consider them to be friends. Everyone ships whoever they want. Everyone has the right to give their arguments, Johnlock shipper or not, as long as it is done with respect.
