I'm a canon fanatic, so I usually don't ship non-canon ships. I think their relationship is purely platonic, and it is no less strong than if it were a romantic one. Platonic is the best!
I dont
Shit I wanted to vote no and I voted yes
🤣😂
I didn’t realize that I had clicked on “yes” to this. Would’ve said “no” if I knew what I was doing 🤦♂️
Oh well
I definitely don't ship them. They're just really good friends who support each other. I mean, would you like it if you and your BFF is shipped simply because you both do everything together? I wouldn't, but that's only if I had any friends XD
@Aile de Rossignol me too😁
I heard that Gatiss and them are sick and tired of explaining that they aren’t gay. They said they wish people would stop asking because its stupid.
@Sherlockian2007 totally agree, plus they dont have any chemistry. Honestly, Jimlock makes much more sense what with the subtle flirts... I absolutely love Johnlock as friends! <3
Okay, I have something to say. The first thing is that I remember that I mistakenly voted "I ship and I believe in Johnlock". Here. Then, before, even though I wasn't shipping Johnlock, I believed in it a bit. Because I was like, "Even if I prefer the idea of a friendship between John and Sherlock, I have to admit that there are times, it's a little strange. Everyone takes them for gay, it's true that sometimes they seem more than friends, when John says he's not gay he really looks like he's lying ... "Anyway, basically, even though I preferred a Johnlock friendship, I didn't I wasn't sure this was actually the case on the show, I wasn't sure John and Sherlock weren't in love with each other. Or rather, I was even pretty sure that they were lovers and not friends. I found Johnlock's shipper arguments far too hard to contradict. In fact, I even got the feeling that Johnlock was absolutely obvious and that even those who didn't shipper Johnlock (like me for example) should at least admit that John and Sherlock's relationship was ambiguous. And then one day, 1 or 2 months ago, I thought to myself that I must try to find arguments to contradict the arguments of the Johnlockers, even though I had trouble imagining what arguments I could come up with. I had never looked for arguments before because the Johnlockers arguments seemed far too good to be contradicted so for me, I was sure I was never going to find an argument. And so, that day, I tried to find some, just to see. And in fact, I found that it was very easy to find any other explanation for "Johnlock's evidences." For example (and this is only one example among all that I managed to justify otherwise), for the fact that John and Sherlock are taken by everyone for gay, it can be explained by the fact that usually, men are "buddies" but not "friends". There is a very big nuance between the two. The friends, we laugh with them, we talk n little about anything and everything but in general nothing too private, we go out with them to party ... But friends are other things. Already people have few friends. And even more for men, friendship is for them something quite rare. I'm talking about REAL FRIENDS. Friends, we tell them our secrets, we have deep discussions with them, we know them very well. We usually do with friends also what we do with buddies. But there are more things. In the case of John and Sherlock, it's even more special as a friendship, more than they are roommates and colleagues. They are together all the time in addition to being best friends. Sherlock even goes to John's dates in Season 1 so it proves that they are veeeeery close ! xD Suddenly, for the people around, their relationship seems so surprising, so rare, that they immediately deduce that they are in a romantic relationship, when they are just very close. All that to say that if we want to see Johnlock in the relationship between John and Sherlock, we can see it and even be convinced of it, but if later, we try to see something other than a romantic relationship, we can very well see it and be convinced of it too. It really depends on the point of view. But since a friendship between John and Sherlock is more likely and I prefer the idea of friendship, then I consider them to be friends. Everyone ships whoever they want. Everyone has the right to give their arguments, Johnlock shipper or not, as long as it is done with respect.
@Hpsherlockian15 I, in truth don't really ship anyone in the fandom except Sherlolly and Johnary. Nothing else.
What do you think?
