There’s an Instagram account called @aguidetodeduction and they’re brilliant. They give all sorts of educational information about deduction from visualization. I’ve used a bunch of the tips and they’ve never been wrong
Also, not exactly, but ever since watching videos on analysing films, I always check for plotholes in anything I watch (it's sort of like an instinct?). I don't say if I do find one, though, because people would find me annoying. :D
Well, I actually never tried it myself. Also, if I did, I'd never share my results with any of the people that surround me 'cause I know it'd be awkward. Also thanks to @TonyWolf97 for telling us about that instagram account. I'll surely check that out. I've been interested in this ever since I read my first Holmes story. Also, many people think it's just fiction, but since Sir Doyle himself learnt that from his professor, so it's a real thing.
I pressed successful. At church sometimes I will honestly zone out and focus on the people around me. I look at thier clothes and purses. On their clothes I try and look to see if there is dog hair and stuff like that. If there is than I can deduce what kind of dog and how tall. On purses I can deduce how old or new and if its a gift/has sentimental value. Since I first found Sherlock I have been training my deductive powers which is just taking some observations and coming to a conclusion about them. (Starting from easy to hard) Also I practice mindfulness and strengthen my intuition which helps you stay aware and able to pick up certain details. Its very helpful and works. Try simple things then do harder ones. I mean you obviously dont have to do any of this but I am going to become a detective anyway so mine as well start practicing now.
