(picks up) Lestrade, you know perfectly well that I don’t need wake up calls.

Lestrade

(Through phone) Sherlock you know perfectly well that I do know. It’s a case.

Sherlock

Fine, I’ll give you a minute. Interest me.

Lestrade

So this peculiar case, is different. There’s murder, but we know who’s the killer. It’s just that she fled before we came. She left a pretty clear message that she was the murderer though. Carved her bloody name into the Hollow Point bullet. Seemed like she was emotionally involved with the victim, too. Right next to her name was, “For you especially, Kevin”. Or “I used to like you, Sally.” You know, looked like classic movie revenge.

And killed half the orphanage. You hear me. Child murder. And from the information we’re getting, not only the victims are children, but the murderer is probably…A child too.

Sherlock

Time to give me a minute. Well, more like twenty. Wait, and don’t you dare move anything!

Lestrade

I never do, I have critical thinking as well, you know.

Sherlock

Twenty minutes. Just stand there and don’t do anything. Twenty minutes!

(Orphanage)

(John runs after Sherlock, breathless, and still doesn’t know what’s happening. Sherlock dragged him out of bed and without explanation dragged him here. Finally, John sees Sherlock slow down in front of an orphanage.)

(In front of the orphanage is a small mountain of bodies. At least thirteen kids were lying lifeless, and huge wounds on their chests suggested a powerful bullet. John cringed a little. This by far was one of the most bloody murders he had ever seen.)

John

So these are the victims, huh? Poor children.

Lestrade

Yeah. We only removed the bullets. Seems like a pretty cruel prank to do to a kid. By another person.

Sherlock

(busing examining bodies) Mmm, yes, quite obvious hollow point. Would you look at that nasty piece of flesh torn out…Let me see these bullets.

Lestrade

(hands him a plastic zip up bag with bullets inside) All here. I know this is a important matter, and everyone’s worried to death, but these messages she gives are quite fun to read.

Sherlock

“Shame that you chose to betray, Emily—Vanessa Johnson”. “Love you, Carly”.

…

Ha, interesting indeed. Carved in by a knife, obviously, had a nice hand that isn’t shaky. Bold of her to carve her own name on these bullets. Found fingerprints?

Lestrade

Sadly no. Must’ve used gloves.

Sherlock

Well this is getting rather fun. I trust you’ve sent your men looking for her?

Lestrade

Precisely. Been looking all over town for the kid.

John

It’s a kid? You’re kidding me.

Lestrade

It’s true. Looked at the files. She’s only twelve, can you believe it?

John

Unbelievable.

Sherlock

Worse than Moriarty, and that’s something.

Since the release of the Enola Holmes movie trailer, since they have Henry Cavill portraying Sherlock, Sam Claflin portraying Mycroft, and Millie Bobby Brown portraying Enola. I’ve been wondering who would’ve portrayed Enola in the Moffat-Gatiss Sherlock show? Or even if Eurus was meant to be a some sort of reference to Enola, since they are the only Holmes daughter whose name starts with E and is meant to be as clever if not moreso than both Mycroft and Sherlock

Also, who do you reckon would be Irene Adler and John Watson in the Enola Holmes movie, because John Watson obviously exists if Enola investigates a bouquet (the book!) and Irene Adler would obviously be mentioned by either Watson or through Sherlock’s memento of the Woman.

These things have been on my mind since the trailer of the film, which I am excited to see! Comment on who, and why they would be perfect for the characters up above. I like hearing other’s opinions when it comes to subjects like this. 👍

Hey ! So in the Christmas Special we get a flash of Mycroft's notebook and I was hoping to discuss this a bit.

Apart from his interesting handling of Maxwell's equation and matrices we have 2 information offered.

"Vernet ?" and a date : 6 Janury 1x74

I like the quick reference to the canon novel The Greek Interpreter where we meet Mycroft for the first time in Doyle's novels. Sherlock talks for the first time t Watson about his family and mention his blood relation to the French artist Vernet.

It is the date that puzzle me. The 6 of January fits the commonly acknowledged date of birth of Sherlock but the year doesn't (1980 if we take as a reference the CP incident). 1974 would be closer to Mycroft's birthdate but then what of the 6 of January ?

Just pointing what I thought was an interesting detail. Hope to hear from you guys ^^
