This is a non-canon Roleplay.
Some parts will be canon, like existing characters.
Some parts will not be canon, like new characters and plots.
Please be wary of this and do not Roleplay other peoples’ characters.
How does everyone want to do this? There are many options like we write POVS (points of view) from each characters perspective. Or everyone can go-with-the-flow which normally works better. I’d rather do that one but any suggestions or comments leave them below!
My New Character:
Name: Livia Watson
Age: 23
Gender/ Sex: Female, woman- She/ her pronouns
Shippable: Yes (ask me first though obviously)
Sexuality: pansexual
Relations: John Watson’s second sister. The ages go- Sister 1, John, Livia.
She’s on good terms with her parents and John. Doesn’t really speak to sister 1. John hasn’t seen her in real life for 4 years. She’s treated as the baby of the family.

Opening paragraph to a fanfic I quickly gave up on- it wouldve been great but im not clever enough to write mysteries
Anyways
Sherlock was sorting through his file, discarding unneeded information, things that wouldn't be useful to him. There were many, and he spent a good amount of time deleting small observations. Suddenly he came across something strange. A virus. He pulled it out, examined it with disdain. It was a feeling. Sherlock Holmes wasn't used to them. They were for mortals with souls. Boring souls. Average souls. So convinced that humans can give each other happiness, as if happiness was a thing that was plucked from a tree and casually tossed to a friend.
Im writing my Bachelors Thesis about the development of the character of Moriarty in recently published adaptations (book or short-story). Im impressed by the immense amount of pastiches and adaptations - at the same time it is very hard for me to spot the works that feature Moriarty. Im relatively new to the genre. However, your expertise in fan fiction and Sherlock Holmes in general would help me a lot.
Does anybody know adaptations featuring Moriarty (whether they fit into the Doyle canon or not)? The works should not be older than 1995.
Thanks a lot, Leo

I have a copy of the above book, written by my step-father Fraser Smyth, for sale on eBay, if anyone is interested.

I'm a bit curious as to the opinion of Irene Adler as a character. In your own personal opinion, what do you consider her as?
(Edited by administrators)
In my book The Case Book of Irene Adler, she is shown to be a dangerous enemy but a believer in justice. She creates an association called The Cub des As (Club of Aces) with folks who like her believe that if wrongs can't be righted by traditional routes then the laws can be bended. As an example the paedophile Lord Stonehead who steals gipsy children and after abusing them kills them is untouchable, so Irene and friends take the law into their own hands.
You can get the book in electronic form from Kindle (99c or 77p)

Hello!
I just need to say that there are a couple of rules for this particluar board. As well as sticking to the wikia Terms of Use, I wanted to clarify what this means in terms of sharing fanfic and art.
After asking staff for clarification, they've said that a good guide is for anything posted here or linked to from here to be rated no higher than teen/PG-13. Wikia are generally more flexible when it comes to violence, but any sexual content must fall within that rating. If the site you are linking to also contains material rated higher than that, that's fine but links must also be of the same rating or lower.
I'd also like to say that if you are recommending work that isn't your own, please link to the fic or art rather than reposting it. That way the person who created it can get full credit and any comments that people want to leave can also be directed to them.
