Has anyone ever heard of this story? I have just found a copy of it, but it is an undated photocopy of a typed manuscript, and the actual author is not named. Josiah Holmes is the narrator character, identified as the son of Adrian Holmes, who is the son of Mycroft; this makes Josiah the great-nephew of Sherlock. Obviously this is not canon, but I am not very familiar with the wide world of Sherlock Holmes pastiches, and I am wondering what I have found.
Hello there ! I was just looking at the skip code Mary recieved in S.3 Ep.1 The Empty Hearse :
Save souls now!
John or James Watson?
Saint or Sinner?
James or John?
The more is Less?
Mary sees the skip code that says : -Save John Watson Saint James The Less-.
But don't you find it shocking how the message makes sens on his own ? -Save John or James ? Saint or Sinner ?- Really ?
I don't really know what to make of this and would have been delighted to discuss this a bit. Thank youuu !

I have a question that if there is already mobile app of this wikia so why it doesn't show discussions in mobile app? I installed it's mobile app but I didn't find discussions but when I entered with PC so it shows discussion . So it's kinda request that is it possible to attach discussions from mobile app so it will be easy to use for mobile users like me. I'm in some other wikias too. I know every wikia has its different policies but as much as I know if its discussions will be attached with mobile app so it will help to increase users amount of this wiki and will help to discuss about it for mobile users like me!
Thanks for reading and please do answer this, it's a question of a fan of Sherlock Holmes like you all!
"...That I should... Only to send him to his death!" - Sherlock
Anyone can remember the rest of this quote? Would not want to read the whole thing again so soon lol
The YouTube Player API for Wikia has changed in the last two years, so I've been thinking of migrating the videos we have on some of the pages to the current format. Here's more info on the current stuff: https://developers.google.com/youtube/iframe_api_reference
Trouble is, I really don't have much experience with this new embedding procedure. Would anyone be willing to advise me or help with updating the embedding of the vids ? Thank you.
Hello there,
I have a little problem. I would like to get fully into the world of Holmes & Watson but I don't know where it all begins. I watched the movie Sherlock Holmes with Robert D. Junior and in the movie they took a lot of things together I think... so maybe I can get some help from you guys, that my brain can work normal again.
Thanks a lot.

On John's blog, it keeps showing images but saying "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later." Is there a way to fix this? I really want to see what the images were. (The pictures did show up on the post titled 'A Few Pictures...' but not for anything else.
I've read a good few Sherlock Holmes stories, and have watched any number of film and TV adaptations of them, but can't bring to mind any specific examples of where Holmes carries out accent profiling of another character. I mean scenes where Holmes does a 'Henry Higgins', saying that he can deduce X, Y and Z about another character on the basis of his or her speech patterns alone ('the man I overheard on the train was raised by a father from Aberdeen and a mother from Swansea, grew up in a house shared with Irish navvies on the Old Kent Road, joined the Navy at the age of twelve and was posted in Bangalore for four years, married a scullery maid from Penzance...' That kind of thing). Can anyone help here? Apologies for my ignorance - I realise I ought to know this! Thanks.

Why The Sign of Four presents the colonial as a threat to British ? Did Doyle think that Indian treasure "Foreign" come to British causes crimes ?
According to the credits roll of The Abominable Bride her last name is Donlevy and not Hawkins.
In Sherlock (the TV Show):
- Did Sir Arthur Conan Doyle exist?
- Did he write stories about Sherlock Holmes (not the one played by Benedict Cumberbatch of course) ?
