Sir Compton McIntyre is a person from the pastiche "Der Erpresser von Edinburgh" (published in Germany July 2019) by Francis London.
McIntyre meets Holmes in a pub in Edinburgh. Watson 's account of Holmes gives him confidence in the detective's abilities and invites him to his home. There he entrusts him with a blackmail letter and asks him to find out who is blackmailing him.
Due to a misunderstanding between him and Holmes, a serious development occurs.
