Der Hund von Baskerville is a 1929 German silent film adapted from The Hound of the Baskervilles. Unlike the 1914 film, this production is a straight adaptation of the book as opposed to basing itself on a staged translation.
Boasting an international cast, this marked the final Sherlock Holmes film of the silent era.
Long thought lost, the film was restored and released on home video by Flicker Alley alongside the 1914 film.
