Dr Bell and Mr Doyle is the first episode of the BBC mini series, Murder Rooms, which was broadcast in two parts on 4 January, 2000 and 5 January, 2000.
The series followed a young Arthur Conan Doyle as he worked cases with Joseph Bell, the man Sherlock Holmes is based from.
Summary[]
A young Arthur Conan Doyle attends medical school at University of Edinburgh, where he attends lectures from Dr Joseph Bell, an eccentric doctor who uses deductive reasoning to discover what's wrong with his patients, as well as being able to deduce there life story.
