Nigel Stock (21 September 1919 – 23 June 1986) was a British actor who portrayed Doctor John Watson in the BBC's 1960s Sherlock Holmes series opposite Douglas Wilmer, and later Peter Cushing as Holmes. He also played the good doctor on audio.

In addition to his Holmesian appearances, Stock starred as Dr. Thomas Owen in the BBC medical drama The Doctors (1969-71) and its spinoff Owen, M.D. (1971-73), recurred as Hoofd-commissaris Samson in Thames Television's Amsterdam set Van der Valk (1977), and essayed the title role in a 1985 BBC dramatisation of Charles Dickens' The Pickwick Papers. His film appearances included Brighton Rock, The Dam Busters, Victim and The Great Escape, whilst his television work featured Danger Man, The Avengers, The Prisoner, Doctor Who, Yes Minister and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
