Merge and Expand?[]
The more I'm browsing through this wiki the more I think that it's very needed to merge all of the adaptation lists into one and, as well, add separate ones for stage and radio productions (I'm working on these two). What do other people think? Тостер (talk) 21:00, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
- I wouldn't merge them back together. I think it'd just lead to a list that is far too long - expecially as it's added to and expanded as time goes on. But if you wanted to expand any of the individual ones that's great!
- I agree that we need a section for radio productions - it'd be great to have some info on the wiki on that.
- However, when it comes to stage plays I'm really not sure. It's such a huge area to cover and I'm not sure that there's very much info that's accessible to us that we can draw on in terms of references. Also, how do we decide what's notable and what's not? Would we include little local plays? Amateur productions? How would we decide what to include? I also think that it makes it difficult for us to write about the plot/characters when there isn't a recording or writen record of the play for us to draw from. We have a short section on the Canon of Sherlock Holmes page about the plays that ACD wrote, but I'm not sure we need much more than that. Amateur Obsessive (talk) 22:19, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
