The Case of The Missing Ghost was a three-part story making up the fifth, sixth and seventh episodes from the second season of the Apple TV+ children's series Ghostwriter.
The series revolves around a group of children who investigate local mysteries with the aid of a spirit known as Ghostwriter, who can only communicated by writing. To aid the kids, Ghostwriter summons manifestations of characters from various well-known books such as Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, and Charlotte's Web among other. These storybook characters can only be seen by the children.
Plot[]
"The Case of the Missing Ghost" involves a season-long arc regarding the identity of an anonymous writer known as Mason Briggs. Ghostwriter manifests Holmes and Watson. However, as they were transplanted from a modern pastiche rather than the original canon, these particular incarnations of the great detective and the good doctor are both women.
