Filming locations[]
Like in most of the series, locations meant to portray the original story's Devon setting actually utilised the north of England for both exterior and interior filming, albeit on carefully chosen sites. Locations in Yorskshire reminescent of Dartmoor and the Devon countryside were used for outdoor scenes. [1] [2] [3]
