Wasn't he, or at least someone similar, on one of Sherlock Holmes that starred Basil Rathbone? I can't quite recall the episode, I just know that the man was particularly fond of Sherlock Holmes because Sherlock cleared his name of a murder charge, to which Sherlock replied something along the lines of 'he couldn't have murdered the man, he was robbing ___'. I know the quotation is off and the lead isn't much, but I do recall their being someone, at the very least, like Angelo.
Is anyone else making that connection?
Well, I guess I've got some Sherlock Holmes to watch. :)
